"Muriel writes music for playing and as the title of this book says for dancing to! Here in her new book we have a vast array of tunes to fit with all styles of dances. Music that we have heard on her tapes and CDs is now here to be played - reels, jigs and strathspeys as well as music for pure enjoyment - airs, waltzes, marches and medleys...

I find it extremely difficult to pick out my favourites from this book, as I think there is something for every emotion and occasion, with a variety of keys to choose from - especially the minor keys. Placed in groups of tunes that can be played together, Muriel shows how key transitions can be made, as well as helping new musicians to see how to put tunes together.
I have had great enjoyment using this book at class and playing at home for my own pleasure - I hope you have the same."
